The question of my final major project was, “How could modern jewellery craftsmanship be portrayed through CGI storytelling?”
I explored ways of showcasing silver jewellery crafting as a “labour of love”, highlighting imperfections as the fingerprints of the handmade process, and how organic symbolism inspires makers in their craft.
The story progresses from the first sketch to the final piece, illustrating that everything starts with something small. It also playfully and poetically showcases the silver wax-carving process using tactile materials.
The project was done with C4D, some Houdini (a big achievement for me), some TouchDesigner, and footage filmed in my favourite local park 🌸⛓⭐️.
